James’s Fifty Shades of Grey, but it is a work of literature that revolutionized the art of writing, which continues to influence people’s philosophies, beliefs, and views on life— even roughly after a century since its publication. Not to mention, the large, red spot symbolizes the blazing world he now views, and the long paint streaks represent the planes that Septimus observed soar and fill the sky during the war. All in all, Champagne displays how a man who should feel honored for being so brave for fighting for his country, can also be engulfed with sorrow at the same time. Disturbia, a pop song sung by Rhianna, connects the theme of PTSD in the novel with contemporary art and postmodern society. For example, the lyrics â€Å"What’s wrong with me? Why do I feel like this?
